Dear Colleague

We invite you and your colleagues to visit our International Scientific and Applicative Conference “Poligraph today: current situation, challenges, perspectives”, which will take place in Kiev from 8th till 9th of November 2014. On the 10th of November foreign visitors can have a city tour. 

Conference is organized by: Ukrainian Board of Polygraph Examiners, National Academy of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, The Academy of Labour, Social Relations and Tourism. The working languages of the conference – Ukrainian, Russian, English.

 1st day AGENDA: (the 8th of November)

  • 09.00-11.00 = Registration of participants
  • 11.00-12.00 = The opening of the Conference
  • 12.00-12.30 = Coffee Break, Networking
  • 12.30-14.00 = Reports of Participants
  • 14.00-15.00 = Lunch
  • 15.00-16.00 = Reports of Participants

 

2d day AGENDA (the 9th of November)

  • 10.00 -11.30 = presentations and reports
  • 11.30-12.00 = Coffee-break, networking, presentations of polygraph equipment manufacturers.
  • 12.00-13.30 = Reports of Participants
  • 13.30-14.30 = Lunch
  • 14.30-16.00 = Reports of Participants

On the first day of the Conference from 9 a.m till 11 a.m you will have a possibility to organize the expo of your company for all conference participants.  You can also prepare and use the promotional materials of your company, which will be interesting for polygraph examiners on the second day of the conference. We expect to have approximately 200 participants during the first day and 100 participants (polygraph examiners only) during the second day of the Conference.

On the first day of the Conference we can allow 20 minutes for your report. We recommend you to prepare the information about your practice of Polygraph application and development in Canada and other countries, tell about your company and polygraphs as well as your new developments. You can use multimedia projector for your report. We will provide the professional interpreter for translation. Please note, that you can send the slides of reports in advance to our e-mail for translation by our interpreter to demonstrate them in Russian language as well.

On the second day we can allow 30 minutes for your report. We recommend you to prepare the detailed information about your polygraph equipment with the demonstration of the programme. You can also share any other professional information, which you consider useful. You can use multimedia projector during your report. We will provide the professional interpreter for translation.

We request you to provide us with the names and surnames of all members of your delegation in advance to prepare the certificates of participation.


The organizational fee for all participants of the Conference is 40 USD for two days. The fee includes the issue of the Certificate, hand-out materials, coffee-breaks, lunch, City tour for foreign visitors.

 

For accommodation you can book rooms in the Academy of Labour, Social Relations and Tourism hostel, which have 12 comfortable double rooms. It is obligatory to make reservations in advance because of limited number of rooms available. The price for accommodation in the hostel is 150 UAH( equivalent 12 USD) per night. You can also stay in other more comfortable hotels in Kiev.

Unfortunately, we will not compensate you travel and accommodation costs, as this is a volunteer based event with the use of social funds of conference organizers.

In your confirmation please mention the date of your arrival, the flight number and arrival time, so that we can meet you at the airport for transfer to the hotel. If you need our advice  to book the hotel – also let us know.
